I found this article from the Huffington Post regarding LinkedIn and thought it was important enough to share with you. Many people ignore LinkedIn as a social media platform as they think it is just for professional people. I am an online marketer and I view myself as a professional but maybe not in the same category as Corporate America. I do not think LinkedIn should be ignored and this is why. I try to optimize my profile to rank high when people are looking for a Social Media Expert, Mobile Marketing and Small Business. One day a local businessman had endorsed me for my skills.
